What the Brand Audit is, and is not

The Brand Audit is a diagnostic instrument. It scores the answers you give it. It does not verify them, and a score produced from your own answers is a measure of what you reported rather than a substantiated finding about your position.

Nothing the audit returns is a guarantee of any outcome. It is not legal, financial, medical, or employment advice. Decisions you make after reading it are yours.

Submitted audits are stored and can be read by staff at Mashman Consulting Group LLC, including your individual answers. Do not enter confidential information, another person's private details, or anything you would not want a consultant to read. The Privacy Policy sets out what is kept and how to have it deleted.

At submission you may check a box permitting Mashman Consulting Group LLC to contact you about your score, related work, and future emails. That box is optional; leaving it unchecked does not prevent you from receiving your result. Checking it is your consent to be contacted directly and does not obligate you to anything further.

Identity Positioning™ and Identity Positioner™ are trademarks of Mashman Consulting Group LLC. The methodology, the audit instrument, its scoring model, and the text on this site are the property of Mashman Consulting Group LLC and its licensors.

Identity Positioning: A Macroscopic View on Personal Branding and Personal Branding: A Manifesto on Fame and Influence are the copyrighted work of Isaac Mashman. You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and link to them. You may not reproduce them at length, republish them, or use them to train a machine learning model without written permission.

You may share your own audit result freely. You may not copy the instrument, its questions, or its scoring model to build a competing product.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt this site, access parts of it you have not been given access to, submit another person's details as your own, or use automated means to submit audits at volume.

Products in development

Some products described on this site, including Identity Positioner™, are in development. Describing them here is not an offer to sell them and does not commit us to a release date.

Liability

This site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Mashman Consulting Group LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it or from any decision you take on the strength of an audit result.
