For Companies and Executives
MCG's Workplace Audit
A proprietary audit of how your employees use their personal brands and, through them, represent you. Built on Identity Positioning™, the reputation architecture Mashman Consulting Group uses with executives and public figures, and applied to the people who carry your name every day.
Your Company Is Already Being Interpreted
Clients, candidates, investors, and press read your company through the people who work there. What your employees post, endorse, and say, in the workplace and especially outside it, becomes part of your reputation whether anyone planned it or not. The question is who is doing the interpreting, and what they are concluding.
Most companies manage their brand and leave their people's brands to chance. The Workplace Audit measures that gap, person by person and across the organization, so executive visibility and internal branding become deliberate instead of accidental.
What It Measures
Omnipresence
Whether employees can be found, and whether what is found describes your company accurately, including what AI assistants now say about them.
Credibility
Expertise recognized outside your walls, and the media, events, and associations your people appear alongside.
Seamless Branding
Whether your people describe what you do the way leadership does, and whether their presence matches the standard you set.
Reputational Health & Risks
Undisclosed conflicts, confidentiality exposure, reactive posts, and the risks leadership should never learn about from the public.
Marketability
How your people advance the company: explaining the offer, making introductions, and turning attention into opportunity.
AI Exposure
How employees use AI to write, post, and handle company information under their own names, one of the fastest-moving risks in internal branding and marketing.
How an Engagement Works
Scope
Choose who participates and how many. Every engagement is sized to your organization, from a leadership team to the whole company.
Participate
Each participant receives a private link. The audit takes about fifteen minutes, carries your company's name throughout, and scores against the same five weighted pillars as every Identity Positioning™ instrument.
Two Reports
Every participant receives an individual report from Mashman Consulting Group. Leadership receives a report on trends across the organization, never individual answers.
The Leadership Conversation
Included in every engagement: a working session with MCG on what the trends mean, where the risk concentrates, and what to do with the information.
Editorial coverage is earned, never bought. The same standard applies here: the audit measures what your people can evidence, not what they intend.
Workplace Audit Questions
What Does the Workplace Audit Measure?
How each employee's personal brand represents your company across five weighted pillars: Omnipresence, Credibility, Seamless Branding, Reputational Health & Risks, and Marketability. It also measures AI exposure: how employees use AI to write, post, and handle company information under their own names.
Who Takes It?
Anyone whose name is publicly connected to your company: executives, client-facing teams, sales, recruiters, or the whole organization. You choose how many participants to include, and the scope is set with you.
What Does Leadership Receive?
A leadership report of trends across all participants: the organization's composite, pillar averages, the most common risks, AI exposure, the weakest dimensions, and the actions that would move the most people. It comes with a conversation with Mashman Consulting Group on what the findings mean and what to do next.
Are Individual Answers Kept Private?
Yes. Each employee receives their own report from Mashman Consulting Group. Leadership receives findings across participants, not individual answers, and no group smaller than three people is broken out. That privacy is what makes the answers honest, and honest answers are what make the report useful.
How Is It Priced?
Pricing is available on request and scales with the number of participants. Engagements are accepted by application.
