What this site collects

A few things, and only when you give them.

Brand Audit answers and results. When you press the button to score your audit, your answers are sent to us, scored, and stored. The stored record includes every answer you selected, your scores, and anything you typed into the intake questions, including your name, profession, and audience figures. Your answers are not stored before you press that button, so leaving the page part-way through leaves nothing behind.

Contact details you give us. Your name and email address are required to receive your full result. If you ask to be notified about Identity Positioner™, we store the address and role you gave.

The consent checkbox. Before you submit, you can check a box allowing Mashman Consulting Group LLC to contact you about your score, related work, and future emails. This is optional and unchecked by default; leaving it unchecked does not affect your result. Checking it does not enrol you in a mailing list by itself, it gives us permission to reach out directly.

A technical note on abuse prevention. To stop automated submissions we keep a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address for one hour. The address itself is never stored, and the hash cannot be reversed to recover it.

If you generate a share link or certificate. Your result screen offers a link at identitypositioning.com/s/ and a downloadable certificate, both optional and only created if you choose to use them. The link shows your composite score, your band, and your five pillar scores to anyone who opens it. It does not show your email address, your raw answers, or your risk register. The certificate is generated entirely in your own browser and never touches our servers; we have no record of whether you generated one.

What we do with it

Staff at Mashman Consulting Group LLC can see complete audit records, including every individual answer. We review them to prepare your result, to improve the instrument, and to understand where to help. If you booked or enquired about a consultation, your consultant will read your record before speaking with you. Assume a person will read what you submitted.

We always use your email address to send you the result you requested. We contact you about other Mashman Consulting Group LLC services, or reach out about your score directly, only if you checked the consent box at submission. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with advertisers.

We also use audit records in aggregate to understand how personal brand positions score in general. Aggregate figures never identify you.

Who else is involved

This site is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request. If email is sent to you, an email provider processes your address in order to deliver it. Each of these parties handles your information under its own policy.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking pixels. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated before they go live.

How long it is kept

Contact details are kept until you ask us to remove them. Audit records are kept so a later audit can be compared against an earlier one, which is the point of running the audit more than once. Ask us to delete your record and we will delete the whole thing, answers included.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Every email we send includes a way to stop receiving them. Write to us and we will act on it.

Children

This site is intended for professional adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
